Brazil’s banks, payments and Open Finance
Brazil’s financial system includes banks, credit cooperatives, payment institutions and other regulated providers. Banco Central do Brasil (BCB) is a monetary authority and supervises institutions within its remit; regulation of the wider financial system is shared with other public bodies according to their roles.
Brazil’s Open Finance framework lets participating institutions share specified data or services when the customer gives informed consent. NEXVORO provides information about Brazilian organisations and published financial products; it does not initiate applications, transfer customer banking data or grant credit.
