Domestic and international banking in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines uses the Eastern Caribbean dollar (XCD) as part of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union. Domestic commercial banking operates within the regional framework supervised by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB). The jurisdiction also provides international banking licences administered by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). These are not interchangeable authorisations: international banks have separate licensing categories and restrictions on the customers they may serve.

The FSA publishes a specific list of international banks, distinct from the register of ordinary companies. A company incorporation, international business registration or financial-services listing does not by itself establish permission to accept deposits. Domestic and international accounts also should not be assumed to enjoy identical safeguards or depositor compensation. NEXVORO currently lists three organisations associated with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, with no separately published financial product offers.
